MERCER COUNTY, Pa. - A murder suspect from Detroit was arrested in Mercer County over the weekend.
According to WFMJ, Perez Smith Jr., 28, was booked in the Mercer County Jail, but the details of how and where he was arrested were not released.

Police blocked off a section of Hamilton Boulevard in Farrell Saturday afternoon after getting reports that Smith may have been trying to hide out at a relative’s home in the area, WFMJ reported.

Smith was wanted for allegedly killing someone outside of a funeral home last week in Detroit. He allegedly shot the 24-year-old man in the chest as they man walked into the funeral home.
